Iona Pathways' performance coaching is designed and conducted to improve his or her performance at work. It is based on the premise that performance in any field can be enhanced by creating a partnership and setting aside time to explore in conversation how work might be taken to a new level. Through a series of guided conversations, the client learns to discover and implement personal solutions to challenging issues or areas of performance. And behaviors and skills are implemented and evaluated.
Iona Pathways’ Group Coaching typically focuses on one particular leader and encompasses their entire team or system. Observations within group settings can shift the leader's understanding of where there are problem spots. In real-time, or after interactions, coach and leader brainstorm other possible approaches, or call out issues that have arisen. Often we have more than one coach participating in an ongoing engagement with a group. And we choose our interventions very carefully and only after getting buy-in from the individuals involved. Our Executive Coaching is a one-to-one relationship between a professional coach and senior leader or key stakeholder who holds a powerful position within an organization. The coaching is contracted for the benefit of a client who is accountable for highly complex decisions with wide scope of impact on the organization and perhaps even an industry. While the focus of our coaching is on organizational performance or development, it often times serves a personal component as well.
